I just checked out pale waterys' website. Man,have you ever seen streams as clear as those in Slovenia? I mean the water in Beaver Creek is clear fot at least a mile or more downstream from the hatchery. The Letort, Big Springs,Green Springs,Falling Springs all in Pa. are pretty damn clear, but those streams over there are ulta clear. In that one picture the guy is standing in water far enough above his waist that it's almost touching his shorty vest and you can still see every pebble on the bottom.Amazing.
Cool.
smallstreams.com is what it is, this place, grassart.net is also what it is.
It is my plan to have the sites compliment each other. This site centered around a bamboo community, smallstreams a much more open approach towards fly fishing i.e. those who don't know yet what they are missing.
Gus and I are working together at smallstreams.com
Gus also helps me here with the computer stuff at grassart.net
Without Gus, smallstreams.com would not have found it's way back to where it started.
Thank you Gus.

Check out the header on my Swedish forum in the link under my post. That´s the little Radovna river in Slovenia. I guess that´s what goes as a "small stream".

And this one is the gorgeus little Savica river.

Wow Addy, good memory. I forgot all about that....maybe because I don't like loosing.adam wrote:The smallstreams.com design was done in nearly the same method as described above.
Gerard was involved a bit, we argued about what scene for the sea portion. Gerard wanted a Seychelles type sea scape. I could see it but I did not know how to picture it in my mind to work with the artist. (*I forgot his name) I won but Gerard definately had a lot to do with it. We talked about what would make a good logo and how we could define the "from the mountains to the sea" and represent "we are all small streams of information"
I am very happy to announce that smallstreams.com is alive and well.
Yeah.

The fishing was so good I thought I was there yesterday.
