Roger has set July 17 and 18 to be the dates for next years Metolius "Annual Bamboo Rod and Fly Fishing Show":

I will try again for next year. Hopefully I can actually get there. It's on my calendar, and in December we do our vacation picks for the year. Getting the days off on the books is the first step, then I can plan the rest!! Thanks for the update Mats!!

We´ve decided to get into Portland on Wedensday and probably spend one night in West Linn before heading up to CS on Thursday. Have to do some shopping in town first.

I´ve booked a room at the RV park again (yes, well in advance this time as we had some problems finding something in the area last time) as it´s so close to the show and we can stroll back an forth as we please. I also just got an invitation to stay with Gary Paul Basin in his cabin, so if Andy think that´s ok the RV park room will be availible for someone else. Let´s see what he says.

We´ll be fishing the Metolius on Friday, attending the show on Saturday, fishing the Deschutes on Sunday and the Metolius again on Monday.

Dave, how about we coming down to Shady Cove on Wedensday evening to be in your boat on Thursday?
